Now you can double click the bat file and it will automatically optimize all the DDS files in that folder, plus all the DDS files in subfolders. then make sure you have file extensions turned on in explorer, and change the filetype from. just write a new textedit doc and have it say "nifscan.exe -fixdds" (without the quotes) and save it as "Convert Tex to SSE" or something. so once you have the executables, you should make a batch file for NifScan to unlock the fix DDS feature. you can use NifScan to check and fix DDS files, but i'd actually use the Nif Optimizer to fix NIF files. it's pretty simple, just get NifScan.exe and SSE Nif Optimizer.exe and put them in a folder that has all the book of silence stuff inside it too. It depends on your version of windows, but it's good to get into the habit of converting oldrim DDS and NIF files in general.
